In Mark 11:21-26 we witness Jesus reminding the disciples that their faith should be directed towards God and not the temple. This redirection by Jesus to His disciples is important because they had realized that the temple and Israel were both cursed just like the fig tree. We will examine some of the false teachings within the Word of Faith movement which substitutes human power for God's sovereignty and human dreams for God's promises. We will conclude that Christ is the appropriate object of our faith.
