Interpreting The Olivet Discourse Part 2 (Mark 13)
August 10, 2014 Preacher: Eric Douma Series: Mark
Scripture: Mark 13:1–37
In this message we return to grapple with the proper interpretation of the Olivet Discourse. We will see that both Matthew and Mark have used a Greek discourse marker that helps us understand the structure of Jesus' response to the disciples' question. We learn from this structure that no one can know when Christ is coming, but we also learn that God has promised that believers are exempt from the wrath of God poured out in the future seventieth week of Daniel. Come and hear for yourself the great plan God has for rescuing His people.
