Rescued, Transferred, Redeemed and Forgiven (Colossians 1:13, 14)
August 17, 2014 Preacher: Bob DeWaay Series: Colossians
Scripture: Colossians 1:13–14
Colossians 1:13, 14 describe four results of conversion. God's rescue of Lot and God's rescue of Israel during the Exodus are examples of how God rescues His own people. Being transferred from one kingdom to another means that we belong to Christ who is both the Son and the King. We underscore why it is essential that we preach on the wrath of God against sin and the realities of heaven and hell. Jesus promised release from sins for those who believe.
