The Holy Spirit comes upon Mary and she proclaims the glories of Messianic salvation. We explore themes revealed here which will be developed in Luke/Acts. One theme is the mercy of God shown to the humble. Another is the theme of reversal. God gives grace to the humble. We need to join with the saints above, singing praises to God.
