Peter tells us that he is thankful for the promise of salvation that God has given us in 1 Peter 1: 3 – 5. It is because of that promise that even though we go through trials and tribulations, we still have joy! It’s the kind of joy that’s deep down and “inexpressible.” So, just what is inexpressible joy?
