Jesus made it clear to His faithful apostles that they would be hated by the world. What it takes to be hated by the world is simply to be chosen out of the world by God. The church does not need the approval of the world to please God with their lives. The world hates us because of who Jesus is. We must preach the clear truth about Christ despite the animosity of the world around us. God calls all Christians to proclaim God’s mighty deeds. We are safe in Christ. In the end God will be glorified in both His salvation and judgment.
