God's Elect Are Absolutely Secure (Romans 8:29-30)
June 11, 2017 Preacher: Eric Douma Series: Romans
Scripture: Romans 8:29-30
In Romans 8:29-30 we learn the great doctrine of election. Paul assures believers in Christ that we will indeed inherit glorification because we have been foreordained for just such a purpose. In this message we also grapple with the doctrine of foreknowledge. I disprove the Arminian notion that God merely looks down the “corridors” of time and chooses to save those people that He sees first choose Him. We learn instead that the doctrine of foreknowledge means that God has chosen to enter into a saving relationship with some – all before the foundation of the world.
