In this message taken from Romans 15:14-21 Paul recounts his apostolic ministry. Paul explains how he was empowered by the Holy Spirit with “signs and wonders” to accomplish preaching the gospel to the Gentiles. We learn from this passage how unique the first century apostles were as evidenced by the miraculous deeds God did through them to verify that these men spoke and wrote the very words of Christ. We also should be reinvigorated by Paul’s example to preach the gospel. Paul loved enough and cared enough to sacrificially preach the gospel so that some may leave eternal death for eternal life. Are we willing to do the same?
