In this message taken from Romans 16:1-19 we see Paul concluding his epistle with desired greetings to various people. We do learn, however, some important doctrinal points as Paul commends Phoebe as a “deacon” of the church at Cenchrae. From this we conclude that women can be deacons in the local church. We also explore the various ways in which false teaching can creep into the church as Paul warns in Romans 16:17 about those who cause dissensions.
