In this message we examine the aseity of God and its ramifications. God having “aseity” means that He is a self-existent and non-contingent being who does not need anything or anyone outside of Himself for either His existence or for His sustainability. We learn that because God is eternal is this manner, He is necessary for the existence of all other things. We also learn in this message that because of God’s aseity, we can trust Him to sustain the universe, and we can trust Him for our own everlasting life that we will enjoy in our future resurrected bodies.
