In this message taken from Joel 1:14-17 we examine the biblical doctrine of “the day of the Lord.” I explain how the prophets viewed God’s judgments in their own time as precursors to the final day of the Lord in our future. We examine evidence that suggests the prophets viewed the day of the Lord as a broad period of time while occasionally referring to the day of the Lord as a limited 24 hour period.
