Jesus Is Faithful in the Wilderness: Matthew 4:1-11
February 6, 2022 Preacher: Eric Douma Series: Matthew
Scripture: Matthew 4:1-11
In this message taken from Matthew 4:1-11 we learn about how Jesus went to the wilderness for forty days of temptation in order that He would be the faithful Son that no one else ever could be. Israel had gone into the wilderness for forty years, but they failed in disobedience when they underwent God’s testing. We learn from this that Jesus saves His people vicariously. Jesus lived a perfect life in order that His righteousness may be given to us. Jesus also died as the sinless man so that His death could atone for our sins. Come and hear for yourself why Jesus’ faithfulness in the wilderness was so crucial for our salvation.
