The Rejection of God’s Prophet in Nazareth Matthew 13:54-58

In this message taken from the final verses of Matthew 13 we learn about Jesus’ trip to His hometown of Nazareth. We learn how the Jews of Nazareth failed to believe despite the overwhelming evidence Jesus provided of His messianic credentials.

We also learn how Jesus fulfilled the prophecy found in Deuteronomy 18:15 in which Moses foretold of a future prophet that would replace him. We see clear attestation by the Heavenly Father in Matthew 17:5 that Jesus is this prophet when God the Father stated “listen to Him.”
