Follow the Creator, Not the Creation

In this message, taken from Matthew 19:16-26, we witness Jesus' interaction with the "Rich Young Ruler." In this encounter, we learn how the idolatry of the young man keeps him from wanting to serve Christ the Creator and instead serve his riches (part of creation).

We also witness Jesus lovingly use the Law of Moses in the attempt to convict the man of his own sinfulness and need for the Savior. We conclude from this message that the only way out of remaining idolaters is for people to be converted by repenting and believing the gospel.
