Faith and the Fig Tree

In this message, taken from Matthew 21:18-22, we learn of the connection between saving faith and the fig tree Jesus curses.

We learn that Jesus cursed the fig tree because it bore no fruit even though it had developed leaves showing it should be bearing much fruit.

The tree stands for Israel and the lack of fruit stands for the lack of faith which cursed Israel, albeit temporarily.
