The Parable of the Vineyard

In this message, taken from Matthew 21:33-46, we learn about the parable of the Vineyard.

In this parable, Jesus uses the Landowner to represent God, the vineyard to represent Israel, the vine-growers to represent the leaders of Israel, and the slaves to represent the prophets God sends.

We learn from the parable that Jesus is angry with Israel's leaders for always rejecting God's prophets and promises.

We learn that we must be those who "bear fruit" by trusting in Christ who is the fulfillment of God's prophets and their promises.
