1Peter 3:18 is loaded with gospel themes. We expound those themes and tie this passage to other passages in the Bible that reveal the same redemptive truths. One important idea we discuss is revealed in the terminology "once for all." We also discuss the priesthood of every believer. The idea that Jesus went into hell is discussed and dismissed as not taught in 1Peter 3:18-19.
