Peter tells us that Jesus preached to spirits who are in prison. We deny that this is about Jesus going to hell during the 3 days His body was in the tomb. Peter discusses the state of the wicked spirits that have been locked up since the days of Noah. Jude also discusses this. The issue is boundary crossing, which is condemned by God. We also discuss the error of the Word of Faith teachers who claim Jesus lost his divinity when He died on the cross and descended to hell to fight Satan. Teaching that Jesus died spiritually is heresy.
