John 15:26 and many other passages
We continue our discussion of the many New Testament passages that explain how we know what is or is not a work of the Holy Spirit. Luther is cited showing that he also point to testimony about Christ as evidence of the presence of the Holy Spirit. Means of grace concern how the Holy Spirit works in the church. We also teach the priority of the forgiveness of sins and why it is essential that God's promise of forgiveness of sins is taught to the church. We claim that feeble faith in the truth Christ, weak as it may be, is saving faith because of the work of grace through the gospel.
