Piety is a godly quality we ought to have while pietism is an elitist, false system of belief and practice. Pietism claims to solve the "problem" of "dead orthodoxy." However, the truth does not kill us, unbelief does. We discuss the fact that the Biblical doctrine of the inspiration of Scripture means that the Holy Spirit inspired Biblical authors determine the meaning of Scripture. We also discuss the clarity of Scripture. We show how pietism is a false, mystical movement. We end by discussing the great blessing of being ordinary Christians.
