We discuss in detail how the Lord's Supper is a means of grace. The institution of the Lord's Supper happens in the setting of a Passover meal. We study numerous scriptures which are pertinent to this. Included is the 3rd cup, the forgiveness of sins, and the anticipation of the 4th cup in the Messianic kingdom with Christ. The 4 cups correspond to 4 promises in Exodus 6:6, 7. We end with a discussion of the Hallel Psalms they likely sung as they finished the Supper.
