Salvation in Luke/Acts (Acts 4:8-12)
Speaker: Bob DeWaay Series: Acts of the Apostles Scripture: Acts 4:8-12, Luke 18:1–19:48
The Sanhedrin was dominated by Sadducees who did not believe in the resurrection of the dead. Nevertheless Peter preached the resurrection of Christ to them. He also applied Psalm 118:22 to them. The rejection of Messiah was predicted in the OT. We also discuss many evidences that salvation was thematic in Luke/Acts. In the end of Luke 18 and beginning of Luke 19, Jesus saved a blind beggar and rich tax collector.
