Many important passages in the Bible warn against testing God. We discuss Acts 5:9; Hebrews 3:8,9; and Numbers 14:1-4 which have this warning. Failure to remember God's saving works with gratitude and failure to believe God's promises lead to sinfully testing God. The Holy Spirit comes to us through the Word. We need to listen to Jesus Christ the head of the church who knows what we need. He told us to practice His Supper in remembrance of Him.
