John 14:26 and Acts 5:17-21 - the Priesthood of Every Believer
We begin with commentary by Martin Luther on John 14:26 concerning how we identify a true work of the Holy Spirit. It is clear that prophecy is to be judged as to whether it agrees with the teachings of Jesus Christ. We also discuss the important doctrine of the priesthood of every believer. As we go back to Acts, we examine the narrative tension that reveals the author's meaning in the context of the gospel.
