Since Christ is the unique anointed one, His brethren are anointed equally as kings and priests to God. The true priesthood is Christ and the only High Priest and the priesthood of every believer under Christ. The ministry of the Word of God is common to all believers. We are to all declare the wonderful praises of God who called us out of darkness and into His light. We also discuss the significance of the Lord's Supper as a proclamation of the gospel. Luther also equated baptism with the proclamation of the Word of God.
