God Raises Up Moses Who Is Rejected (Acts 7:23-39) Part 1
Speaker: Bob DeWaay Series: Acts of the Apostles Scripture: Acts 7:23-39
In Acts 7:23 it says that Moses, when forty years old, visited his people. The term “visit” is theologically significant. This Bible class takes that word and traces it from the Greek throughout the Bible. For example, in Luke/Acts, God’s visitation is a significant theme. When God visits, the result is either salvation or judgment. We also look at “overseer” in the Greek as grounded in the word for “visit” and why that is important.
