Signs and The Gospel of the Kingdom (Acts 8:10-12)

Philip and Simon both have signs. But Philip’s are attached to the gospel. Simon practiced magic arts. True miracles are not an art form to be learned but acts of God. There were unique miracles done by Christ and His apostles that established their teachings as God’s word. But God still works sovereignly as He wills. Philip preached about the kingdom which implies that the resurrected Christ is the King who rules from heaven. We discuss the significance of baptism and also the priesthood of every believer.
