Philip preached Christ to this Ethiopian who was on his way from Jerusalem. In this context, we discuss the importance of a love for the truth, which this man had. Having such a love for the truth is a gift of God’s grace. Philip baptized this Ethiopian as soon as he believed the gospel. The new Christian went on his way rejoicing which shows the joy of salvation. We also discuss the meaning of prophecy in the church.
