As we begin Revelation 13 we learn that Satan attempts to usurp God’s control over the earth by giving his authority to the Beast. This “Beast” is none other than the Antichrist who leads the whole unregenerate world astray during the Great Tribulation period. Satan uses his Antichrist and False Prophet to bring in his own distorted “trinity” that will attempt to supplant God’s rightful rule over the earth.
