Two Important Visions - Part 2 (Acts 10:9-16)

As Cornelius’ messengers were on their way to Joppa, God gave Peter a vision of a sheet with various creatures. Some of these were considered unclean. In the vision Peter was told from heaven to take and eat. As we will learn, Peter’s vision was not just about food, but about Christian table fellowship. Peter’s response was that he had never defiled himself with unclean food. God was preparing Peter for the events that will follow. We discuss how God saves people and sends them to testify about His mighty deeds. We also have a discussion about implications of Deuteronomy 29:29. We examine categories that make clear what we can or cannot validly know.
