A Divinely Arranged Encounter (Acts 10:17-33)

May 14, 2017 Speaker: Bob DeWaay Series: Acts of the Apostles

Scripture: Acts 10:17-33

God used a number of supernatural events to get Peter to travel to Caesarea to the house of Cornelius. This not only was to get the gospel to the Gentiles there, but to create table fellowship in the church between Jews and Gentiles. Peter obeyed God and went with the messengers. Peter learned an important lesson about not calling “unclean” what God would cleanse. The people there had a love for the truth because they welcomed all that Peter had to say. We also have a discussion about the doctrine of common grace.
