In this discussion we show how biblical categories such as revealed in the commandment against stealing are being attacked and eroded by current popular philosophy. We see that the term “progressive” comes from ultimately from the Hegelian synthesis. This philosophy is about erasing categories that God has made. There is a serious conflict between a biblical worldview and the lie of spiritual and social evolution. We need to identify categories and see the difference between good and evil. People are drawn to meditative techniques that create “awareness” of a Christ consciousness rather than a knowledge of the true Christ of the Bible. Many important illustrations of how this has and is affecting the whole world are given and addressed. Erasing boundaries is ultimately destructive to human beings.
