Title: The Tent of Meeting and Hearing from God part 1

In this class we watch 32 minutes of a DVD where I had contended that Beth Moore misrepresented the tent of meeting narrative from the Old Testament. My claim was that Moses was the mediator of the Old Covenant and that the tent of meeting was only for him. Moore claimed that anyone could have their own tent of meeting and hear from God. This is a false claim. Under the old covenant, some people did challenged Moses’ unique role and were immediately judged. After the presentation we discuss what discernment is and is not. We emphasize why we need to have discernment. We end with prayers for our country and leaders.
