Systematic Theology: The Lord's Supper

Speaker: Eric Douma Series: Systemic Theology

In this message we examine the Reformed view on baptism. We examine the claims Reformed theologians make when claiming infants are appropriate recipients of baptism. We also refute Calvin’s contention that New Testament baptism has a one to one correspondence with Old Testament circumcision by demonstrating Calvin’s misunderstanding of Colossians 2:11-12. I also demonstrate how significant baptism is by showing biblically what it signifies. Come and hear why baptism is an ordinance only for believers and why it is so significant in our Christian walk.
