In this message taken from Proverbs 1:20-33, we examine how wisdom is personified and depicted as calling out to the naïve and the fool. We show that wisdom comes from God’s word and is therefore public rather than secret information. We also discuss the need for people to be regenerated by God’s power in order to come to faith in Christ and trust in His word. We conclude from this that only those who believe can have true wisdom that will lead to salvation. Finally, we conclude by using an example of a tragic life lived by a local young man who turned to crime and missed the wisdom found in God’s word.
