In this message we examine 2 Thessalonians 2:2-3 which is often cited as a passage that negates imminence by claiming the apostasy and Antichrist come before the day of the Lord. We show that when closely examined, this passage actually teaches that the apostasy and revelation of Antichrist are the first events inside of the day of the Lord. We show two passages that have similar constructions in the Greek which aid in our understanding of this passage.
