In this topical message we examine how to refute postmodern epistemology that seeks to divorce the Christian from having a valid and true interpretation of Scripture. We prove that the laws of logic are inherent to the Scriptures, and we show how human sense perceptions were used by the apostles in order that they may testify about the person and work of Christ. Finally we begin to prove that the author rather than the reader grounds the meaning of written texts today. Each of these three tenets are under attack by the critical theory espoused by so many in social justice churches and in our culture.
