The New Testament’s Understanding of Daniel’s 70 Weeks Prophecy (Pt 6)

We conclude our studies about the 70th week of Daniel with an explanation as to how the day of the Lord is to be understood.

We show from Scripture that both references to the "great and terrible day of the LORD" in Malachi 4:5 and Joel 2:31 refer to the end of Daniel's 70th week in which we see Christ return to destroy His enemies and reestablish the kingdom in Israel.

We show from Scripture why this unique day should be seen as a subset within the" broad day" of the Lord. According to 2 Peter 3:10, this "broad day" begins at the inception of Daniel's 70th week and extends past the Millennial Kingdom. Come and hear for yourself why there are precursors prior to the "narrow day" of the Lord while there are no precursors prior to the "broad day" of the Lord.
