After reviewing Israel's departure from Sinai for the Promised Land (Num 10:29–36) and God's burning of the complainers at Taberah (Num 11:1–3), we continue our study of YHWH's gracious provision of his Spirit to the 70 elders in response to Moses' lament and his punitive provision of a month's supply of quail to the people in response to their grumbling and strong craving at Kibroth-hattaavah (Num 11:4–35).
