We continue our brief survey of Moses' "Scroll of the Law" in Deuteronomy. After reviewing the first sections of Deuteronomy, what Eugene Merrill and others call its "preamble" and "prologue", we survey its sections containing largely "legal stipulations" and "blessings and curses". Lord willing, in our next class we'll continue discussing the unity and distinction of the covenants that God made at Sinai and in plains of Moab under one mediator, Moses. We will also conclude our survey of the authorship of the Torah.
