God Protects His Son: Matthew 2:13-15
October 3, 2021 Preacher: Eric Douma Series: Matthew
Scripture: Matthew 2:13-15
In this message taken from Matthew 2:13-15 we learn that God is faithful in protecting His Son from Herod’s rage by bringing Him on a new exodus into Egypt. We conclude from this that God always protected the Messiah whether from a wicked Pharaoh in Moses’ day or from a wicked king like Herod in Jesus’ day. I also explain the significance of the “firstborn” status that both Israel and Christ share. We conclude that God will always protect His true sons and daughters who belong to Him by faith in Christ.
