This section of Acts describes Peter's preaching on the occasion of the healing of the lame man at the Gate Beautiful. Peter's message ties together themes from Luke/Acts as well as the Old Testament. We expound those themes. Peter's address references the promises given to the Patriarchs. The Jewish leadership asked for a murderer to be released and became murderers in regard to Jesus. We show that the Bible, particularly Luke/Acts teaches repentance.
