We continue our discussion of Numbers 14 and why this incident serves as the basis for Psalm 95 and Hebrews 3:7-9. Again we are urged to not follow the example of those who tested God and want to go back to Egypt. The antidote to testing God is to remember His saving works with gratitude. God's might acts should give us confidence in His future promises. We also see God's character cited by Moses when He urged God to forgive His people according to His lovingkindness.
