In this message we finish our introduction to Joel by talking about the promised sending of the Holy Spirit (Joel 2:28). We examine how the sending of the Holy Spirit was foretold in Numbers 11 when Moses expressed the desire that “all of God’s people would prophesy” (Numbers 11:29). We also look at how the sending of the Spirit was both foreshadowed by God sending healing rain (Joel 2:23) and fulfilled at Pentecost when Christ sent the Spirit (Acts 2:33).
