Who’s the Child in Revelation 12: Pt 2

In this message we continue to examine the identity of the “child” in Revelation 12:5. We learn that this child being caught up to God’s throne is not a reference to the ascension of Christ, but it is a reference to the rapture of the church by Christ. We give biblical evidence for the corporate reading of the “child” as well as proof that the context of rescue from Satan in Revelation 12 is not conducive to an ascension reading. Christ’s ascension is always depicted as His victory and mastery over Satan and his minion, but the catching up of the child in Revelation 12:5 is about rescue.
