In this message we examine John 6:44-45 for the purpose of determining if the doctrine of unconditional election is biblical. We look at the verses prior to John 6:44 and determine that the phrase “come to Me” is synonymous with coming to faith in Christ.

We find that Jesus is therefore teaching that no person can come to faith in Christ unless the Father draws them. We also conclude that this “drawing” is effectual since those drawn will be raised up on the last day. Come and hear for yourself the evidence for unconditional election in John 6:44.
