We review and continue our study of God's gracious provision to Moses of the 70 Spirit-filled elders and his punitive provision for the people of a month's supply of quail.

We also discuss a number of topics. One unexpected but hopefully instructive and fruitful discussion concerned embellished or false testimonies that are not uncommon in modern evangelical churches and are particularly prevalent in many charismatic, Pentecostal, and so-called "New Apostolic Reformation" (NAR) circles. The testimony we discussed included the use of numerology—a form of divination attributing special, hidden significance or meaning to (biblical or extrabiblical) numbers as a source of revelation or knowledge, which, in the case of the Bible, the biblical authors did not intend to convey to their audiences and, thus, is not uncovered by interpreting the text in its relevant ("grammtical-historical") context.
