In this message taken from 1 Timothy 2:1-2 we examine the God ordained role for the civil government. Paul commands Christians to pray for all men and especially for those who are in civil government. Paul commands these prayers on behalf of the governing officials so that we may live peaceful lives free of turmoil in order that we may be dedicated to godly living and the gospel. In this message I lay out a biblical worldview on the proper role of government and the church’s relationship to the state.
